As photographers, Adam and I have had the privilege of capturing many special moments, but there's something truly magical about shooting weddings at the bride or groom's childhood home. The intimate setting, the personal touches, and the sense of nostalgia all come together to create a unique and unforgettable experience. Recently, we had the pleasure of photographing Josh and Taylor's wedding at Taylor's family homestead in Warrensburg, MO, and it was a day filled with love, joy, and beautiful memories.

Autumn and Christian enlisted the expertise of Laura, owner of At Ease Events, a talented event planner known for her attention to detail and ability to bring dreams to life. With her guidance, every element of the wedding was carefully curated, resulting in a celebration that surpassed all expectations.

Hey there lovebirds! Get ready to be swept off your feet as we you on a mesmerizing journey through Chase and Michaela's breathtaking engagement session previews at the enchanting Konza Prairie Nature Trails. This oh-so-in-love couple has not only found their perfect harmony but also discovered the most idyllic backdrop to showcase their love story. We cannot wait for this wedding!
Kailey and Brittney
Let me introduce you to Kailey and Brittaney, the loveliest couple you could ever meet. This evening, we were fortunate enough to witness and capture their love in the picturesque Shawnee Mission Park. As we strolled through the park, we couldn't help but notice how nature was already embracing the changing season. The vibrant colors are arriving, ranging from marigold yellows to deeper greens and it created a magical backdrop for our session. It was as if the park itself was celebrating Kailey and Brittaney's love.
Gunner and Rachael
Last week, I had the delightful opportunity to have an engagement session with the absolutely charming couple, Gunner and Rachael. Our adventure began at the serene River Front Park nestled amidst nature's splendor. Moving forward, we explored the urban jungle of West Bottoms. This place, with its unique character, was just like the couple - full of life and stories to tell. The brick walls whisper tales of the past, adding a sense of nostalgia to the vibrant atmosphere. Wouldn’t you agree?
Austin and Taylor
Just this past week, we had the absolute pleasure of capturing one of the most heartwarming tales of love and commitment. Our protagonists? The delightful duo, Austin and Taylor. So here's to Austin and Taylor, to their epic engagement session, and to the countless moments of love and laughter that are yet to come. We can't wait to see what the future holds for these lovebirds!
Quinton and Rachel
I had a wonderful evening at the Nelson-Atkins Museum, where the light gave Quinton and Rachel, and their cute dog, a soft glow as they walked the grounds together. We had a terrific time! I can tell you, as their photographer, I loved capturing their loving looks, stolen kisses, and shared laughter, preserving these special moments for years to come!
