As photographers, Adam and I have had the privilege of capturing many special moments, but there's something truly magical about shooting weddings at the bride or groom's childhood home. The intimate setting, the personal touches, and the sense of nostalgia all come together to create a unique and unforgettable experience. Recently, we had the pleasure of photographing Josh and Taylor's wedding at Taylor's family homestead in Warrensburg, MO, and it was a day filled with love, joy, and beautiful memories.

From the moment we arrived at the picturesque homestead, we were struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The big sky, the gorgeous trees, and the new workshop recently converted to wedding venue, all served as the perfect backdrop for Josh and Taylor's special day. But beyond the stunning scenery, what truly stood out was the sense of teamwork and love that permeated every aspect of the wedding. Family members and friends worked tirelessly to ensure that every detail was perfect, from the handcrafted decorations to the mouthwatering homemade food.
